Ovations
The project aims to develop resources and mechanisms for supporting infrastructure, faculty, and student advancement and providing means for better governance and management of agricultural universities.
ICAR is now embarking upon an ambitious step in further strengthening the National Agricultural Education system in the country through projects like NAHEP by implementing the CAAST-DFSRDA center.
The CAAST sub-component is primarily to support agricultural universities to establish multi-disciplinary center for teaching, research and extension on critical and emerging topic of agricultural importance.
I am happy to see the new generation bringing the excellence of digital farming solutions to farming society through the NAHEP-CAAST-DFSRDA-VNMKV Project.
The interdisciplinary faculty participation for the development of digital technologies in agriculture will develop new areas for researchers, students, and faculty.
This NAHEP-CAAST center is built to strengthen the present PG and Ph.D. courses in all disciplines by offering three elective course work such as Robotics, Drones, or AGVs.
Our aim is to coordinate the education, research and extension education activities for augmentation of agricultural production.
